The Brooklyn Townhouse
We recently brought a 1901 three-family building in Brooklyn back to life after it had fallen into disrepair. Through thoughtful renovations, we modernized the property while preserving its historic charm. Today, it combines contemporary comfort with the original architectural beauty, offering a perfect blend of classic character and modern living.

Transforming a piece of Brooklyn History

Dream it.
Acquiring this 3,000 sq ft 1901 Brooklyn three-family building was a unique opportunity, made possible with a seller’s concession and a true vision for its potential. The property had fallen into disrepair, with significant structural issues, including damaged beams and severe water damage. Our team approached the renovation with care, restoring the foundation by replacing the damaged beams to ensure long-term stability and addressing the water damage to make the building safe for future residents.

Build it.
The design strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and historic character. The dark walnut hardwood floors throughout the property add a sense of richness and warmth, while black and white accent tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms create a sleek, timeless contrast. To modernize the space further, we updated the radiators with a bold black finish, complementing the sophisticated design.
The kitchens feature modern appliances that blend seamlessly with the overall aesthetic, offering both style and functionality. Large windows and a stunning skylight were carefully highlighted to maximize natural light, creating bright, airy spaces that enhance the charm of the home. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to maintain the building’s original beauty while offering a contemporary, comfortable living experience.
